OUR OBJECTIVE:
Sydney Helping Angels objective is to provide compassionate support and empowerment programs to individuals and families in need, fostering a pathway to self-sufficiency, resilience, and a brighter future.

Every month, we proudly distribute free food hampers and fresh bread to approximately 2000 families, helping to alleviate food insecurity and bring nourishment to those who need it most.

1) THE ALMSGIVING PROJECT:
Our primary focus under this program is to help support various clients at many different organisations such as church groups, Refuges, drug and alcohol clients, disability clients, mental health clients, and the youth at the homeless centers and youth centers and clients at the correctional services.
1qq` we provide essential resources such as food, pantry items, toiletries, furniture items, baby supplies, household items, and clothing.
Your donations of frozen and non-perishable food, fresh produce, clothing, and household items can greatly benefit the homeless, low-income earners, and individuals in need in our community.
2) NOURISHING YOUNG SOULS:
We have also launched a school program aimed at providing free food to children who lack access to breakfast and food during school breaks. We believe that nourishing their bodies fosters growth and learning for their young minds and is essential for their well-being and academic.
Your contribution can help us ensure that every child receives the nourishment they need to thrive. Through your generous donations, we aim to vitalise and empower the next generation, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential
3) HEART AND GIVING GRACE NETWORK.
Our mission is to embody the spirit of love and generosity by providing essential resources such as clothing, toiletries, furniture, Manchester, cleaning products, and toys to all in need, we strive to uplift and support all people's with compassion,
Ensuring every child and persons experiences the warmth of care and the grace of giving. Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to foster hope, dignity, and a sense of community for those we serve.wq
4) Hope, faith and Kindness Initiative:
We aim at supporting our neighbours on the streets. This program focuses on distributing hygiene personal packs, clothing, tents, sleeping bags, blankets, camping chairs and food packs that are easily accessible to those in our community.
We believe that everyone deserves to have their basic needs met, which is why our hygiene packs will help promote well-being, while our food packs will include pantry staples and ready-to-eat items. Whether someone is hungry or in need of essential supplies, our initiative ensures that they can easily access these free resources whenever they need them.
5) Harvest of hope:
Our Lady of the Rosary Parish Fairfield, St Gertrude Parish and Sydney Helping Angel Inc are joining forces to bring hope and support to our community.
We're launching a weekly initiative to provide FREE food hampers to those in need.
Every wednsday and Friday at 1 PM, visit the Church Hall to receive a complimentary food hamper. This initiative is open to all struggling individuals, families, and low-income earners.
We're committed to making a positive impact in our community, and we look forward to serving you.
6) Community Champions - Little Volunteers, Big Impact:
Empower kids to make a difference in their community through volunteer work, inspire kids to become community leaders through volunteer opportunities completing hours while learning valuable skills and building confidence, and hands-on experiences that foster empathy, kindness and contributing to meaningful projects that benefit their community.

7) Empower Abilities
To empower our disabled volunteers to contribute their skills and passions to our charity, while promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
We help to provide opportunities for disabled volunteers to engage with our charity with or with out there support workers.
We offer tailored support and ensure equal participation.
We Foster a culture of inclusivity and acceptance.
we assist volunteers by matching, Identify roles that leverage disabled volunteers skills and interests.
We support in many ways including Accessibility Support Provide necessary accommodations (e.g., adaptive equipment, sign language interpreters).
We assist with Mentorship and Pair our volunteers with peers or staff for guidance and support.
We provide with Training and Development to Offer accessible training and workshops to enhance skills and confidence.
8) Community Walkers - Walk, Mingle and Connect
We will Foster social connections and promote physical activity among community members through guided walks and social events.
Weekly Walks:
- Guided walks (easy to moderate pace) in local parks and scenic areas
- 1 hour walks, 1tim es a week
- Walks led by trained volunteers
- Special interest groups (e.g., nature lovers, photography enthusiasts)

9) The Social -chat and connect
Come for a coffee, stay for a chat We are providing a welcoming space for community members to connect, share, and build friendships over a cuppa.
- Every Wednesday, 10am-12pm
- Coffee/tea and light refreshments available

- Stay for 15 minutes or 2 hours – it's up to you
- Topics might include hobbies, interests, or life experiences

10) A Gift From The Heart:
A Gift from the Heart" Christmas and Easter program, which provides free wrapped presents and Easter chocolates to children from struggling families.
Our goal is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve, providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive. We rely on the generosity of donors and volunteers to continue our work and make a positive impact in our community.
